In 1926 the Icelandic company 66°NORTH was founded in Suðureyri in Súgandafjörður in Westfjords of Iceland by Hans Kristjánsson.
The weather conditions were very hard here for the fishermen and workers, and the purpose was to making protective working clothing, because the right clothing was matter of life and death.
Today the clothing is designed to be both comfortable and prepared for all kids of outdoor activities.
