At Nørrebro, 15 minutes’ drive from Copenhagen city center, you will find Cultural Center Assistens and in the graveyard here you can see Hans Christian Andersen`s and Søren Kierkegaard`s last resting places.

Assistens cemetery was built in 1760 more than 200 years ago and is still in use today. More than more than 300.000 people are buried here, and many of them have been celebrities in Denmark like the physicist Niels Bohr
