Flensborg Fjord

When you are going to the most Southern part of the region a drive or experience along Flensburg Fjord is very recommended.

You can set out into shaded forests and lovely beaches and look over into Germany across the fjord at the Gendarm Path.

The fjord is about 30 km long and up to 20 m deep. Fjord consists of a 2 to 3 km wide inner fjord and a 3-4 km wide outer fjord.

Flensborg Fjord is a very popular destination for sailors from both sides of the border.
