In the beginning the clothes was based on oilskin clothes. After the second world new product was innovated ex. Helox, which is a thin sheet of translucent PVC plastic, and this was sewn into the coats and made them waterproof. The fleece jacket was developed in 1961 and had been popular for more than 60 years. The company has been very innovative in developing new materials to improve their products, and in 1980 a new technology was launched which meant the the clothes now were both waterproof and breathable.
