Stay at the historical Kragerup Manor at Mid-Zealand, where even the famous author Karen Blixen spent vacation days.
Kragerup Gods in Mid-Zealand dates way back to 1327. Since 1801 the estate has been handed down in the Dinesen family, including among others the Danish author Karen Blixen, who occasionally visited the family at Kragerup when she was young. Since 1986 Erik Dinesen s daughter Birgitte Dinesen has run Kragerup and she is the 8th generation on the estate.
There is a total of 43 rooms in the main building, the private stable and the old dairy.
The old vaulted cellar, the kitchen, the dining room and the garden room have been renovated and are now used for meetings and parties.
There is also the possibility of various activities. From a indoor swimming pool, to walks and runs in the wood and the park, and canoeing on the moat. In the 25-metres high treetops in the park you may test yourself in the extreme sport Kragerup. Go High and there is also a paragliding track with a lift.
The Kragerup Manor is very recommended in combination with a self-drive holiday in Denmark, and the manor offers exciting weekend stays and mini holidays.
