Lykkesholm/visitdenmark
Lykkesholm Caslte is an old manor, which was first mentioned in 1329 and called Magelund, but called Lykkesholm from 1380.
The farm is located about 21 km southeast of Odense, and the castle was a favorite place for the Danish author Hans Christian Andersen. He visited the castle several times.
Lykkesholm has only become even more beautiful as the years have passed. With 28 double rooms with a view to the moat and the surrounding forests, this castle fits perfect in the beautiful landscape of the island Fyn.
