One of Iceland`s most exiting travelling routes back to back around 300 km long goes between Reykjavik and Central Iceland also called "The Golden Circle".
The three highlights and stops on the tourist route are the national park Þingvellir, the waterfall Gullfoss and the geothermally active valley of Haukadalur, which contains the geysers Geysir and Strokkur.
