Valdemar Castle

Valdemar Castle is one of Funen`s most beautiful castles surrounded by amazing nature.

The castle was built 1639-44 for prince Valdemar, son of Christian IV and Kirstine Munk. Later the castle was taken over by the naval hero Niels Juel.

The castle still belongs to this family. You can also visit the Restaurant, the Tea Pavilion or the Apple Orchard.
