At Villa Källhagen we have created a warm, welcoming setting in harmony with the beautiful natural surroundings of Djurgården; only ten minutes from the pulsating heart of Stockholm.
The light plays an important role in our 36 hotel rooms, shining in through the windows facing the waters of the Djurgården canal, the green park and directly in from the skylight in the bathroom ceiling.
We continue Källhagen’s long tradition of good food, good drinks and good company. The first inn was opened her as long ago as 1810. The Red Cottage, which has its own well established place in the garden, was built soon afterwards.
The old house has now been joined to Villa Källhagen’s attractive main building dating back to 1990 in one of Stockholm’s most beautiful natural settings. We hope that you enjoy your stay here!

Pleasure can be treating yourself to a really tasty cinnamon bun. You can also find simple things in life at Villa Källhagen. In the Bistron you can enjoy light, quick dishes from all over the world or simply a cup of coffee and a really nice cinnamon bun. There is always something going on, from young people drinking café au lait after a walk, to businessmen wanting to enjoy their lunch in a relaxing setting. During the warmer months, the garden overlooking Djurgården becomes a popular venue. And when the weather turns colder what could be nicer that meeting a friend for a glass of wine by the open fire?
