Yxtaholm Castle is situated on an island in one of Sörmland’s most beautiful areas south from Stockholm.
The castle, stables and wings were built in their present form in 1753 but the first written reference to a residence on the site is in a will from 1329.
Today Yxtaholm is a very recommended and respected modern hotel, restaurant and conference centre, characterised by personal, thoughtful service and beautifully set off by its magnificent surroundings.
