Løkken beach and town has attracted guests from around the world for nearly 100 years.

It is a popular holiday destination all the year round.

The town is renowned internationally for its beautiful broad sandy beaches where summer after summer you’ll find the white bathing huts side by side like a string of pearls against a backdrop of grass covered dunes.

Løkken town, which from the early morning to the small hours is alive with tourists, is an active and nuanced shopping experience. 

In Løkken you’ll also find excellent sports facilities and a relaxed atmosphere with cafés, restaurants, shops, artist’s workshops and a little sweet shop where you can see boiled sweets being made the old-fashioned way.

Løkken has a wealth of experiences for all ages. During the summer months, there are concerts, flea markets, antique markets, beach aerobics, competitions and guided tours of the town and dunes.

On Løkken Beach you’ll still find fishing cutters being drawn up onto the beach after a trip out to sea, and if you want to you can take some of their catch home with you.
