Kerteminde is an old small town around half a hour drive from Odense.

Kerteminde has a proud and interesting history. As seaport to Odense, Kerteminde had an important role earlier days but was always a fisherman`s town too.

Today Kerteminde is a highlight for many tourists visiting Funen.

The absolutely highlight is the beautiful old town surrounded by small fishing houses in narrow streets. Maintained old amazing trade houses can also still be noticed, where many merchants worked in the earlier days.

Today the harbour more is a tourist highlight, but you can still acknowledge fisherman boats in a part of the harbour. You will find a beautiful marina here and many nice cafes and restaurants. In the summer many locals and tourists visit the beaches here for a nice swim.
